ergonis Traffic and Creative Guidelines
At ergonis, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of advertising integrity among our partners. To ensure a smooth and effective collaboration, we have outlined the following guidelines. If you have any questions, please reach out to your affiliate manager.
Prohibited Traffic Sources and Tactics
To uphold our standards, the following traffic sources and tactics are prohibited:
- Extensions, toolbars, browser helper objects, shopping assistance applications, etc.
- Cookie stuffing, fraud, spamming, cybersquatting, typosquatting, cloaking, doorway pages, and other blackhat tactics.
- Incentivized traffic.
- Coupon traffic.
- Adult traffic (both mainstream and adult).
- Push notifications, pop-ups, click-unders, and other intrusive ad formats.
- Paid search campaigns in Google Adwords*.
- Paid search campaigns containing ergonis trademarks in other systems. Use of ergonis or any misspellings or similar alterations of these, whether separately or combined with other keywords, is forbidden. This also includes variations with terms like + coupon, + discount, and similar phrases. General Restrictions
- Do not apply if your website currently promotes or may in the future contain sexually explicit materials, violence, discrimination, and/or is used for illegal activities.
- You must comply with FTC's Endorsement Guidelines, ensuring that you have a reasonable basis for any endorsements and product reviews you publish. We do not tolerate unfounded critical comparative reviews or any form of disparagement of our competitors’ products.
Allowed Traffic Sources Please note that even if a traffic source is listed, it doesn’t automatically confirm your campaign. Always seek approval from your affiliate manager beforehand.
- Content websites and blogs.
- Social media influencers.
- Native Ads: Taboola, Outbrain, MGID, FreakOut, Revcontent, and others.
- Display Ads - Banners, Interstitial, Rich Media, Video Ads, etc.
- Facebook/Instagram Ads.
- Google Display Network.
- Email Traffic: Publishers must first approve the email copy and design via tickets. Additionally, unsolicited commercial email (UCE), postings to non-commercial newsgroups, and cross-posting to multiple newsgroups are prohibited. All newsletter subscribers' email addresses must be double opt-in contacts, and all promotions must comply with FTC and GDPR regulations.
Creatives Guidelines When creating your ad copies, consider our brand messaging: highlight the benefits and align with current trends. Whether you’re writing content for your website or running native ads, maintaining relevant, high-quality creatives and copywriting is crucial for effective engagement. If you need custom content, such as a banner or landing page, let us know, and we’ll provide suggestions.
We do not tolerate the following in ad copy:
- Controversial ads with strange, odd, or peculiar imagery.
- Ads that are sexual in nature, sensational, shocking, or outrageous.
- Spam-like calls to action such as “must,” “have to,” “need”.
- Excessive use of uppercase letters.
- Exaggerated claims, such as “Forget about writing - ergonis does your job for you”.
- False or misleading claims, such as “ergonis products increase your productivity by 100%”.
- Offensive language in any language.
- Poor grammar.
- Redundant wording.
- Excessive punctuation.
- AI-generated content or videos.
Unfair Methods
- Blind navigation tools: avoid placements that encourage accidental clicks.
- Content disruption by ads.
- Websites that collect a user's personal information to distribute it without consent.
- Websites that automatically download spyware, malware, or software applications.
- Websites that contain code interfering with a user's control of the site.
- Using various funnel URLs (e.g., SmartLink) that redirect users to unapproved landing pages.
