Yes. You can buy Typinator Basic for Mac as a one-time payment. You get all updates within the current major version. If you also want Typinator for iOS, you need a subscription. With the subscription you get all new versions and can cancel anytime.

iOS apps require continuous maintenance. To keep Typinator for iOS reliable across new devices and iOS versions, we include it in the subscription.

Subscription makes sense if you want iOS, new major versions, and multiple devices. One-time payment makes sense if you only need Typinator on Mac and prefer a one time payment.

Advanced and Business plans are billed yearly. You can cancel at any time to stop future payments.

The Basic plan is a one-time payment that includes only a single major version and no product support, while the Advanced plan is an annual subscription that provides regular updates and email support.

We distribute Typinator on a “try before you buy” basis. We encourage you to download and try before your purchase. As long as you do not have an account, Typinator runs in trial mode. In trial mode, expansions are limited, but you can test the overall functionality of Typinator.
